Crane looks to make the most of England return

The leg-spinner discusses renewed ambition ahead of the Pakistan ODI tri-series.

Mason Crane is preparing for another international opportunity after almost nine years away from England’s side. ICC reports that the 29-year-old took 34 wickets in 14 County Championship matches and 15 in 10 Vitality Blast appearances in 2026. Crane described rediscovering his ambition and expanding his bowling options. England begin their ODI tri-series campaign against Pakistan in Rawalpindi on 20 October; those fixtures are already in the selected calendar.
